About Me

My name is Dr. Andrew P. Ciganek and I am an assistant professor of computer information systems in the MCIS department at Jacksonville State University, in Jacksonville, Alabama.  My research interests are the managerial and strategic issues associated with the adoption and diffusion of innovations as well as the innovation decision-making process.  I teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate information systems-related courses, such as software engineering, software development (.NET, Web services), e-commerce, and project management.

    I think that faculty exchanges may be easier to get started. However, we would definitely accept students to come here. Would our students be able to handle the academic enviornement in Thailand? How about language issues?
